Pizza Hut Oman completes YUM Servsafe international food safety certification

The Operations Leaders and Quality Assurance Teams at Pizza Hut Oman recently concluded the International Food Safety Online Training and Examination; a course offered by YUM International. Pizza Hut is a subsidiary of YUM brands, thus undergoing periodic trainings, assessments and accreditations, following the brand’s corporate philosophy to maintain executional excellence across varied functions.
Restaurant managers at Pizza Hut Oman undertook the YUM Servsafe International Food Safety certification which comprised of three levels and nine hours of intensive training on matters related to food safety supervision. Yogesh Shah, General Manager, Khimji Restaurant Division stated, “At Pizza Hut, we take the title of being ‘Oman’s favourite pizza place’ seriously, hence we leave no stone unturned to ascertain the delivery of a memorable dining experience to our customers. It is our responsibility to manage the front-of-the-house as well as the back-of-the-house operations and this certification is a continued effort towards maintaining a sharp focus on executional excellence across all our functions.”
The course aims at updating the knowledge of the restaurant managers and key operations personnel by testing their current approach and familiarising them with new-age food safety regulations and methodologies.
