If you are one of those people who have made Dubai your home then you know why 127,000 expatriates from across 186 cities voted to put the Emirate among the top 10 list of places to live and work in 2020.
Dubai is the only Arab city to have made it to the top 10 in a CEOWORLD magazine survey that reveals how expatriates rate life in cities around the world. The survey was open to all expatriates over 18, who are currently living away from their home countries.
The survey was carried out based criteria that included local friendliness, cost of living, quality of healthcare, safety, ability to raise a family, and career opportunities.

Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City, Spain’s Barcelona, Netherlands’ Hague, Switzerland’s Zug, and Germany’s Aachen also figured in the list.
In the region, apart from Dubai, Abu Dhabi secured the 13th place while Bahrain’s Manama ranked no. 23. Muscat in Oman and Doha in Qatar also made it to the survey with them being ranked at 32 and 29, respectively when it came to expat life and work abroad.
